I'm hoping the brett and lacto will continue to be active and develop some more interesting flavors in the beer. It just didn't have what I look for in a good sour (not referring to the level of sourness, I thought that was fine and am not a big fan of sour bombs). Honestly to develop into what I like, it probably needs more time in wood and not just the bottle, but we will see.

good question. I bought another one last night to cellar. I might go 6 months and crack it to see what its like. cellaring this beer would be a pure experiment for me.

I have 4 left out of my case. Obviously...I liked it. A lot. I plan on cellaring three though. One at 6mo, one at a year, and the last one...we'll see. I'll check back in here in 6 months. (5 now really... its a little over a month old already). Should change a bit with the lacto and the brett. Its all bottled conditioned.

I find it strange that this made it to Florida before central Pennsylvania. Still has yet to show up here...

Finally found 1 bottle in Indy tonight and snagged it. Not necessarily looking for only Sour Monkey but I have been to a number of bottle shops in the last couple weeks and had struck out. But there was 1 bottle left at Kahn's tonight. Hopefully it's as good as I anticipate!

Landed in MI this week too. 9.99-10.99 at the places I've seen. Missed out on the 9.99 though dammit...

8.99 in NC. Good beer, nothing mind blowing. But I am impressed that they managed to make any sour in this bottle format for so cheap. It's worth buying alone for the fact that you get a pretty tart sour for 8.99 in 750 MLs. If it's year round I will buy it pretty regularly. The flavor clashes a bit just because the Tripel profile doesn't meld into the sourness. Both profiles are present however they are just completely distinct.

Saw this in Philly a week and a half ago, but no price tag. Walked.

Stumbled upon it in Easton, MD for $9.63. Bought and will cellar it for a few months per recommendations here.

I find it odd that it was $13.75 in central PA & $17.99 @ beer shops in Philly??

Taxes. Philly beer prices suck. I live in Philly and prefer to shop in NJ or MD, and I have heard DE is even better.
