In the last Two years I have had the most difficult time landing Sunrise Weiss. It seems like distros are biased against it.

Why can't they put up a spot in pittsburgh so we can get some of the cbc pilsners on tap as well. Share the f'ing wealth!

hopefully some of their awesome one off pilsners will be brewed more frequently and sent our way out west...regardless, victory is top notch and more beer from them can never be a bad thing!

This is a significant expansion for Victory and a real commitment to the local area. The existing warehouse operations at the site are over 250,000 ft2 and located on over 46 acres. This new production brewery will have a 250-bbl brewhouse and 800-bbl fermenters. ALL flagship beers will be brewed in Parkesburg. The existing brewery in Downingtown will primarily brew all the seasonals and special brews. The brewpub restaurant will remain open.

The scope and size of the Parkesburg facility will be quite impressive. In addition to the expanded brewing operations, Bill and Ron have decided to include a massive brewpub/restaurant/bier garden operation in the build-out of the facility. During the warmer months of the year, the indoor brewpub and the outdoor bier garden will EACH accommodate 300 people!! Obviously, there will be lots of beer flowing as well as lots of brats and sauerkraut to be consumed. The brewhouse should be in production by June/July 2013 and I assume that the brewpub operations will also be open. It should be a great venue to enjoy the Fourth of July.....bier garden and fireworks!

Sunrise was draft-only this year, wasn't bottled. I wish it was bottled though, it blows Whirlwind Wit out of the water, one of the best American hefeweissens I've had.

I am also a big fan of Sunrise Weiss. According to the Victory website this beer is available on draft as a seasonal (June).

Victory does produce the Mad King Weiss year-round on draft (as production permits). There is something about Mad King that is a turn off to me; I greatly prefer Sunrise.

    Cheers!

I was told by a rep a few months ago that the goal is to have 1 location for regular beers and one location only for sours
