Well, HopDevil looks to be staying in the lineup, so you're good. I like HD, but for me its more of a Fall/Winter IPA - and not one I reach for too often these days

Yeah, anyone? I'm curious about how this compares with their Hop Devil, but I don't think this one has made it to my area yet.

It's on draft at the brewery at the moment....will probably head down there later today and will see about trying it. I like the hop profile in it, sounds like it will be a nice middle ground between Hop Devil and Dirtwolf.

Still waiting to see it somewhere. I dislike how people in other states have already tried it. Send some to Philly, mofos.

I thought the SRP was $9.99 for dirtwolf. I've never seen it fresh for under $10...

I tried this on Monday. It was tasty, slightly malty. Not as aggressively hopped as dirtwolf but definitely something I'd buy 6 of!

Yeah I agree. IMO it's a bit less bitter than Hop Devil and with a lower ABV than Dirt Wolf, it won't put you on your butt after a few. More of a malty/floral IPA than most of the citrus forward IPA's which seem to be all the rage.

I live an hour from the brewery, and I usually see it around $8-9.

You are very lucky! I live 20 minutes from the brewery and the typical price I see for a 4-pack of DirtWolf is $9.49.

    Cheers!

    You lost me at malty.

I hope that's not the case and I'm shocked it is given the description of the malt bill on their website. I had high hopes for this beer and won't pass judgement until trying it.

It may have been a wrong choice of words. Maybe by "malty" he meant "balanced".

Here's part of a review that's up on the site:
"T - Melon, grape skins and pine followed quickly by a tasty hop bud/resin blast with a good bit of bitterness. Touch of lightly-toasted white bread with a thin veneer of orange marmalade. Some earthy spice and pepper comes in as it warms. Finish is nicely bitter with lingering fruit sweetness."

    Seems promising to me.

Yeah maybe that's a better term to use...also I have a bit of a head cold right now so it's also possible that my taste is a bit off. I

Tasted eerily similar to Prima Pils to me?
