I had a bottle last time it was around, although it was likely a year old or so. Intense is a pretty good description—spicy, musty, leathery, funky. It was interesting more than anything else, and I enjoyed it well enough but it's nowhere close to something like Bitter Monk.

and hopefully snag one for me in case we don't get it out west(ern PA)....but I am hoping it comes out our way with the rest of the Victory stuff.

As a matter of interest, the original IPAs (the ones which gave the style its name) would almost certainly have been affected with Brett. They must have been dry as dust.

I had it on tap didn't like it. I knew that going in (a style I don't care for) but tried it anyway because it was Victory.

I just drank my last bottle of 2009 a few weeks ago, and it held up really well. Funky brett perfection, and I cant wait to try the new one.
