Awesome!! Old Horizontal is already one of my favorites. Bourbon barrels can only make it better.

Always nice to hear about barrels being rolled out, but oak horizontal is the only one I'm really looking forward too. They didn't choose the best beers to barrel IMO.

Victory doesn't exactly have the best track record with barrel aging, but I think Golden Monkey in wine could work quite well.

Anyone know the scale of the release? Hopefully old horizontal will be as easy to get as dark intrigue

The problem I see is that Dark Intrigue was super lackluster but still had a $15 - $20 price. It'll be a big risk if these three come in at that level as well.

I'd very much like to see Oak Horizontal and White Monkey in Boston...

Yeah, I thought this too. I really enjoy the Monkey already, and hopefully this makes it better!

Otto in Oak is sitting around everywhere. Generally as long as it isn't an imperial stout, most barrel aged releases don't tend to be all that hard to get. Barleywines sell too, but not quite as fast... Everything else typically lingers.

I'd be careful saying that, RE: Dark Intrigue...

I might be the only guy in the world, but I think Dark Intrigue was a huge improvement over the base beer. Not sure how that worked, but it's the biggest (positive) difference I've ever noted between the two.

So count me in as happy & looking forward to trying the new efforts!

I'm much more interested in Red Thunder and White Monkey. I will seek them out.

I would have rather seen Baltic Thunder in bourbon barrels but I'm still looking forward to these.

Wow otto in oak was here and gone last year. It was very limited compared to Otto. Hope they release oak again this year. None of these new barrels excites me too much, Baltic could be interesting.

    Enjoy
