Both the brewery and BA call that an American Amber, would probably agree.

Does Victory distribute down that way? Their "flagship" lager is excellent.

Azreal, Kilt Flasher, Dark Abby, Pumpkin Hunter, Kilt Flasher Oaked, Smokehouse Lager, Devil Backbone's list goes on and on! I can't wait to finally visit the brewery this summer!

I know they used to but looking at my empty bottle it seems don't anymore. Well an excellent brew in any case.

Tommy Knocker does a solid rendition as does Neshaminy Creek.

Agreed. Both that it was a tasty beer and that it was a year-round offering. Actually, SN's mixed 12-pack last Autumn was stellar! An excellent Vienna Lager, an excellent Oktoberfest, Tumbler (which is always awesome) and of course, Ken Grossman's gift to the world, the always spectacular SNPA!

Boston Lager is my favourite Vienna Lager (although I haven't had very many).

Boston Lager, while tasty, fits more appropriately under the "American Amber" category. As it doesn't use Vienna or Munich malts, it doesn't really fit the Vienna Lager category. Unless caramel malts taste toasty/bready to you....
