Hello all, I'm headed to the Windy City next month for a work meeting. Anywhere I might be able to get a chance to try some vintage BC bottles or draft? I heard maybe twisted spoke. Any suggestions. Cheers.
Twisted Spoke used to have a cool cellar list, but they couldn't keep it updated and disbanded it. I think Bangers and Lace has a vintage program too, but they also keep crappy records on what beers they actually have available. My suggestion is to call first and make them physically check that they have what their website or Beer Menus says they have. PS: It's BCBS- Bourbon County Brand Stout. Easier to get answers with the right acronym.
Where will you be staying? Bourbon county on draft goes quick, so use beermenus.com to find it. Right now Fountainhead, Kellys pub, and Jack Melnicks have it on draft, but who knows for how long. When you coming? Woops just saw you wanted vintage draft/bottles. Paramount room has 22oz bombers from 2009 for $35. Pricey...
Honestly, forgot about finding vintage BCS and seek out Baudoinia. My favorite fresh version of BCS ever. It is THAT good.
Thanx! I really don't trust beer menus but ill give it another try. In route! http://www.beermenus.com/beers/goose-island-baudoinia#/places/1197-paddy-long-s-beer-pub
When you coming here? Events like this pop up relatively frequently. http://www.beermenus.com/events/115...rry-rye-bcs-coffee-bcs-original-bcs-much-more
