I am the proud owner of five unopened bottles of beer from the now defunct Arkansas Brewing Company, which was open during the 1980s. I believe these are from 1984 to 1986. They have been sitting on a shelf here in our auto repair shop for nearly 30 years with temperature swings from 10º F to 110º F, so they are probably not properly aged...I have no idea what they taste like. The mayor of our town back then was William Lyon and was part owner of the brewery, so I'm guessing my Dad bought these and saved them.
I like the two bottles wrapped in shrink-wrap with the blue labels. What do you want to do with the bottles?
Not sure...I'm certainly not gonna drink em...I reckon I'll put them in a cabinet so maybe the labels won't fade any more.
Good choice. They are probably terrible to drink after that sort of storage. They might be worth more [now or later] as collector's items. I would take some effort to make sure the humidity is low where they are stored to keep the caps from rusting. I'm surprised how clean they look after all those years.
Here's the sad news report when they closed http://www.apnewsarchive.com/1986/Arkansas-Only-Brewery-Closes/id-0191ce29c3e91f67a3efe039a474dda8
