I know that this is probably asking too much, but cellerable beers need a way to update the rating. For instance, if I rated a 2010 Abyss (at that time) It might be quite higher now. Conversely, if I had a beer that was dropping off I might want to warn other people to drink it up now rather than wait. In any event the rating would reflect the here and now.

I've thought about this before and agree. If there was a way to keep the ratings for say parabola 2014 separate from 13 would be awesome. Plus, seasonal releases can vary, which we are all familiar with the this years vintage is worst that last year's threads.

It would be cool to check out parabola 2012 and see what people are saying about it right now as opposed to scrolling through countless hads with no notes until you fine a good BA who states the vintage.

I tried both 2012 KBS and Parabola at an event, both great but edge given to KBS for complexity

Having seen these questions asked and answered more than once in Site Help forum I'm willing to predict in advance the reply you'll get from the site Admins.

If there is a recipe change between years then beer is eligible to be listed as a separate listing. However, if you are talking about the same beer with just different years of bottle age that review information can be added to the existing reviews if you choose to. From the standpoint of discussioin of the effects of age on different years, that is part of the purpose of the cellaring forum.
