Yeah, it would. FfaC is definitely a highly sought-after beer, especially because later batches don't use the Sonambic base.

Don't think so; there are 5 BA Dark Lords above FfaC on the white whale list, suggesting they are more desirable.

I agree it is a unique vintage, but the demand doesn't reflect that.

I don't find any of the BA derplords desirable. I would trade them all day for ffac batch 1. That shit was outstanding and was night and day compared to the temptation base.

I would definitely do that trade, so I think you are incorrect IMO.

All right. I guess I am taking the rankings of the White Whale list too literally.

    Somewhat topical:

I had a Beat B3 from Toronado SD that was a near drainpour recently. That beer has really fallen apart, syrupy, oily, overly acidic, and mostly acetone/nail polish remover.....especially when tasted against CC '09 and '10. But hey, that 750ml bottle is awesome.

On the other hand the Temptation B4 750ml that I had at Churchill's a few nights before was sublime.

Some of your Beatification description sounds like embellishment or bad storage or bad palate, but I agree with the overall message. When I opened the second-to-last bottle I owned, it made me trade the last one.

I think Temptation batch 4 is past its peak too, but not as severely.

I have 2 of each batch 1,2,3 FFaC. I not apposed to traded them. I asked for way too much on the last offer just to see what he would say. He never got back to me... haha

Honestly I forget I even have them. One day i'll either drink them or I wont I guess

I think I asked for a DDG b1 and a Blaaber for a FFAC batch 1 and a T25. Guess he said no?
