I am travelling to Virginia Beach from Atlanta. Does anyone have any bottle shops or places to hit they can recommend? Also, any offerings to keep an eye out for? Thanks in advance.

Grape and Gourmet is the best shop in the area . Also check out Total Wine and Whole Foods . Mix it up is a smaller place but they get some good stuff . And they recently put in 50 taps for growler fills .

Love Child #6 and Avery Vanilla Bean Stout should be out real soon . Reaver Beach Brewing Co. has been been putting out some good beers lately . They should still have the blueberry sour . Haven't tried that one yet but heard it was really good . I did try the apricot sour , was tasty .

I would also suggest the Reaver sours. They had a few at the brewery last time I was there (a couple weeks ago). Grape and Gourmet and Mix It Up are both great. If you end up going to Reaver, you can also check out Young Veterans Brewing as it is right down the street.

If you want to head into Norfolk (a 20-30 minute drive) Bottle Box is a great place as far as bottle shops go (fil growlers as well) and O'Connor is a great brewery. The Birch is a a bar worth a stop if you are after one. Plenty of places in Hampton Roads to get some good beer these days.
