    Hello foreigners. I’m crossing your boarders to ask if there’s any good beer stores in the Alexandria Virginia area? I’ll be heading down tomorrow to visit family but we won’t be hitting any breweries in the area (I’ve been to Aslin, Adroit Theory, and Caboose before) so I’m looking to stop in somewhere and pick up some stuff that I might not see up in CT. Thanks!

    Department of Wine and Beer is your best bet in Alexandria. If you can get over to Arlington, The Brew Shop is a good option and further out in Falls Church is Dominion.

    Lost Dog Cafe Alexandria by Braddock road metro has good options.

    Total wine is also fine but I haven't been in a while.

    It's fine but I'd only recommend as a last resort. Everything there is warm and lots of old beer.
