Unfortunately, this event isn't open to the public to attend just as the Summit & Gala / Awards Ceremony is only open to VCBG members or if you are invited to be the guest of a current member. I thought surely when they announced moving the Summit & Gala from Hardywood to Farm Bureau Center a few years ago it would be open to the public, that's a huge property afterall, just as it was years ago at Devils Backbone. Even when they held the beer fest at IX Park / Three Notch'd after Devils Backbone was no longer considered "craft beer" and the event from moved from DBB it was a nice event they put on to taste beers and meet breweries from across the state. I even make the recommendation to VCBG each year that it would be nice to bring that back OR at the very least stream the Virginia Beer Cup Awards ceremony live but it falls on deaf ears.
That’s a bummer it’s not open to the public. Was actually the first festival in many years that peeked my interest.
