Whoa, whoa, whoa... Seriously!? Let's not be too homer-y!

OP, it's easily the best brewery to visit in TX in terms of experience. While I wholeheartedly disagree with the above statement about Cantillon (nothing I've seen compares to Cantillon, and my list of breweries visited is near 100), it's a lot of fun and is worth the trip.

This is just a down right bad question. You should feel bad for asking it.

I didn't say the beer was as amazing as Cantillon. I just love afternoons in the TX hill country. My opinion. No homerism.

As you'll notice, not one person has said no, or even said "meh." Jester King is always a fun experience. (As a matter in fact, my FIL called me last night and asked if I want to go on Saturday, but I'll be in Chicago)

Thanks for that. I might try to make it down there for the day next weekend.

The pizza is very good, the scenery is beautiful hill country, and they always have a good pour list of new releases, staples, experimental beers, and European beers you won't find anywhere else. The biggest downside is that you can only try something once, but I understand why they do it and think it's the best way to maintain the optimal quality of all the beer.

Do yourself a favor. You're worth it. And after that the guest taps are always awesome.

How are they about someone taking their dogs? I don't see why it couldn't be done if you just hang out outside.

Tons of people bring dogs... they're just not allowed in the tap room, iirc.
