The Wooden Keg should only be about 10-15 minutes from the Holiday Inn. Great selection for the area. Also Antietam Brewery/Benny's Pub should be even closer. I haven't been there in awhile but the food and beer are decent. Alittle further out is Hempin Hill BBQ and they have a good taplist and great BBQ.

Honerable Mention goes to the following:
Stone Grille and Taphouse. OK selection of beer and decent Stromboli
Also check out 4Bs and how about Mudhook?

Stone Grille/Brewtago is a great place for playing the Guess the Price game. I wouldn't bother. Try The Cove instead.

Golden Crust is definitely my go to place in the York area. Best tap selection and reasonable prices. Holy Hound is probably second. Liquid Hero is the best brewery. They have a DIPA that is as good as any I've had (What The Floc), but I don't think it's pouring just yet (should be any day now). Beer Mongers is good for Tired Hands (typically have 4 taps), but they are super pricey. Don't bother with Mud Hook (although the food is good).

Driving on 83 across the MD/PA line gives one the opportunity to try Gunpowder Falls' fine lagers. Check hours, though.

Be sure to check Jim's (Beer Island) column in the Mid Atlantic Brewing News paper for Central PA info, openings, etc... Paper has a happenings page with listings for events in the area as well.

Thanks to all for your recommendations! Sorry that I wasn't able to get together with anyone...my plans with co-workers were more involved than expected, so I didn't have any free times to myself in York. That being said, I was able to make it to Holy Hound and Golden Crust while in York, both which were really impressive! Beer-wise, the highlight of the trip was probably stopping by Max's in Baltimore - so many good beers there.

    Thanks again!
