a lot has changed as of late. Wondering if any of the newer breweries are particularly killing it.
Thinking about the couple in somerville that opened, and the castle island and I thought maybe another opened recently? Sometimes breweries need a minute to work out the kinks, hence me asking. Visiting in June. Thnx.

Nightshift keeps gets better and better. Tributary Brewing in Kittery is about an hours drive and is positively slaying it - albeit on a small scale.

Worth visiting is an interesting question, if everything they make is available at stores is it worth visiting? Well yes of course, But I digress, and I'll just go with value added ad-ins to stops you're probably planning your trip around.

Since you're coming from out of state I'm going to guess you're hitting Trillium, so not only is Castle Island great on it's own, if it existed in a Black Hole it would be worth visiting, but it's also 10 minutes from the Canton Trillium. A buy one, get one situation.

Also guessing you're hitting Julio's, and Cold Harbor is a 10 minute sidetrip, great new-NE style IPAs and traditional British styles .. but first go to Wormtown, on the way back hit Julios/Cold Harbor then while you're meandering back hit Medusa, Jack's Abby and the Framingham Beer Works (seriously, that location kills it). Why yes, that can be combined with an early can Wednesday at Treehouse.

And if you're visiting June 11th-12th hit the Sommerfest at Boylston Schul-Verein in Walpole, German beer repels Beer Snobs

Thats a trip. Tons of great info. I should have clarified a little more though. I'll be prettymuch car-less, with only Fri night, Sat til mid day, and Sun til mid day. Will be in the Boston metro only (95 inward, save JA). Trillium new facility is a priority , so looks like I should hit castle island. If the shitty weekend commuter rail schedule cooperates, Jacks Abby new place I have to been to yet either. May or may not check back in on LordHobbo to see if its changed any (friend lives right around the corner).
