Fermentoren Aarhus is unfortunately permanently closed now, but as you suggest, Mikkeller Bar is well worth a visit. The best beer bar is otherwise supposed to be Mig & Ølsnedkeren in Mejlgade 12, but I haven't been there myself. Erlings Jazz- & Ølbar in Nørreport 8 is also nice. There is a great bottled beer selection in the student's bar Studenterhus Aarhus in Nordre Ringgade 3, and the place is also open for people who pretend to be students. For German beers, try Die Kleine Bierstube in Frederiks gade 75. Bryggeriet Sct. Clemens in Kanikkegade 10-12 is not really great, but should offer you a few ticks.
