Hey folks, I've searched the forums a bit and many of the VA threads focus on RVA. What local shops in Alexandria would you all suggest? Any good breweries? I know Aslin is in Herndon but that's about all I know. Thanks in advance for any advice!
The only brewery in Alexandria is Port City, but it's very good and worth a visit. There is a Total Wine in Alexandria, but I'd suggest looking at Dept. of Beer and Wine (a new shop near the border with Arlington) and (presuming you have a car or access to one) The Brew Shop and Arrowine in Arlington, and Dominion in Falls Church. None of these is an especially long drive and they all have great selections.
Thanks man. I know Arrowine and lived a 1/2 mile from there about 6 years ago. Things have changed since then so I appreciate the advice. I'll be checking out the others as well. Cheers!
