visiting Almanac?

Jupiter has had that problem with their guest beers having an off flavor for at least 6-7 years now. Their house brews generally do not have this same problem (tastes like there's some weird form of carbonation or something like that, hard to describe). I think that they brew a very small amount on site at Jupiter, with the rest being brewed at Drake's.

The recipes at Triple Rock/Jupiter/Drake's are not just the same with different names, particularly Triple Rock, where they brew everything onsite in Berkeley with their own head brewer.

 

I went to college in the area and have noticed it for years, like colonelforbin.

Since the Jupiter's house beers are different from Drake's beers (recipe-wise), it is possible to hate one but not the other.
