Visiting Asheville, NC

    My brother is visiting Asheville for a friend's wedding this weekend and will only be there for a couple days. So, my question to all of you is, what breweries/brew pubs should my brother visit that do growler fills? I've looked up Wicked Weed Brewing and though that one was promising. Are there are any others?

    Also, what breweries on this list are worth picking up from a local liquor store there? This is a list of breweries that are not available to me in New Jersey but distribute to North Carolina:

    I like Highland and Olde Hickory.

    You could really find alot of useful information by searching "Asheville" in this subforum. Much of what you want to know is out there for you to find.

    I would recommend visiting Wicked Weed, Wedge, Lexington Avenue Brewery (LAB), and Greene Man.

    For bottles I would look for Duck-Rabbit, Mother Earth, Olde Hickory, and French Broad (from NC).

    It is usually pretty easy to find Bells and Boulevard which have lots of tasty brews.
