Hi all! I'll be visiting Asheville for the first time this weekend, just one day there. Anything I should definitely do eat/drink-wise while I'm there? I was thinking lunch at Wicked Weed, dinner at Seven Sows and then bar hopping a bunch down town. Anything I should be sure to do?

You're in luck, Asheville is a perfect place to find food and drink. Do a quick search, you should come up with a dozen threads that can lead you down the crimson path! If you have any issues, shoot a line back here, glad to point out some things for you or clarify.

I ate at Tupelo Honey for breakfast. (I don't know if they serve beer there) excellent southern cuisine

    Over easy for breakfast.
    White duck taco for lunch
    Barleys for dinner
Wicked weed for dessert. Beer is dessert.

    All places located downtown.

Is that a normal amount? most upstairs for lunch? only rolling in next sunday at 10 pm and rushing over. Love the wilds.

    Thats about the normal amount.

I usually eat downstairs, they have the patio open down there and it's a little quieter than the upstairs which is usually fairly busy.

Typically they have almost all the same taps town stairs as upstairs I think. It's been a month or so since I was last out there.

They have a wider beer selection down stairs, with more of their beers available, having said that, you can get Sour's upstairs, yes.
