I wrote something a few months ago seeing if anyone wants to get to get together and have a tasting session. I will be coming up with Cigar City beers. As of right now I am trying to decide what would be the beat place to have this at. If anyone has anyone has suggestions let me know. I could potentially be there. I'm off that weekend if I don't end up going out of town. I'd call the guys at the Appalachian Vintner. Charles and Geoff are really cool guys and have had big tastings there before.
Yeah, give em a call or an email. They like having tastings and have a lot of tables and comfy chairs. I'll be attending on the 28th regardless of where it's held. Just a heads up though, man... Last time someone from out of town came to Asheville with the intention of having a tasting, he brought waaaay too much beer. There aren't a ton of BAs around here and only a small handfull will likely show up. The last BA brought like 12-15 bottles and I think roughly 6 of us attended. I would expect about the same this time around. Maybe one or two more..
