Smoked wings from Fox Bros. are the "thing" to get. Too bad that most of the best BBQ places in the city have been forced to remove their beef short ribs from the menu because of the price. I'd gladly pay $35 for one, but most people will not and so they had to go.

Oh, and if you're in Avondale Estates, do make a visit to Wild Heaven and, then go to Pallookaville (http://pallookaville.com/). If you were impressed with the Frito Pie, you'll love this place. Nothing quite like it in the city.

If you want a pie, go to The Pie Shop. Geez, we're sending you all over the city. Sorry about that.

Seconded. After living in Metro ATL for almost 15 years, I *finally* made my way over to Corner Tavern yesterday after plunking $20 worth of quarters into arcade games at Joystick Gamebar.

Damn. What a burger. Oh, and I got a side of bleu cheese dressing to go with it. You know, just to gild the lily.

Right up there with the Bocado Burger Stack and Sublime Burger. @RDMII knows his stuff. But I already knew that.

I actually had a late lunch at the L5P location, and damn it hit the spot.
