Have been hesitant to try the food truck. Good stuff?

I think my comment speaks for itself.

Great fish tacos and the lobster roll is one of the best I've had on LI at only $13.

Lots of IPAs on tap this weekend. Is it just the IPA season or are they learning from OH successes?

Hope not - someone has to make beer besides IPAs around here.

Their saisons are great - hope Vermillion comes back soon.

What is different about Money now? Haven't had it in a month or two - something change?

Picked up 32oz's of 555 (GFIPA) & Money tonight. Money is tasting awesome as usual and I had a pour of the 555 while I was there. All citrus and dank. Another awesome brew! The grapefruit is not overpowering at all. I really wish they would start canning these IPAs!

555 is pretty awesome, hope they make more of it.

    Waiting for this to settle

Fucking fantastic. Fish tacos are amazing. Lobster Roll is such a solid deal for the price. Steak tacos and pulled pork tacos tonight kicked my taste buds ass before.

They've been doing that for the past few years around this time of year. Usually was Money, Ruckus, Evil Giant and Kapow. Now they've just added some new IPAs which are fantastic. Still plenty of non-IPAs to enjoy.

Nothing has changed, but they have really dialed down the recipe as of the last 3-5 batches. Picked up a growler tonight. Tasting so amazing. Was up there with my dog. As he was running wild I had a few glasses and grabbed a growler for the race tomorrow afternoon.

Their saisons are some of my favorite. Saisoff is an amazing beer and I hope to see it soon. It is actually just Money with a french saison yeast.

Enjoyed my visit yesterday afternoon. Very laid back scene with great beer. They had an Atypical cask which was nice. We had a non beer drinker with us who really liked the 555 grapefruit IPA. Money was as good as usual! My first time with Atypical and enjoyed that. Thanks to all for the info.

Barrier was with Other Half last night at Covenhoven. I can't say I am a regular drinker of their beer, but Money was outstanding. I need to try to get over to the brewery more often. If Money was in a OH can and sold on Centre Street people would be lined up down the block for it.

It wasn't overly crowded last night and there were a lot of different beers on tap. I suspect a lot of these beers will still be on tap for awhile. Does Covenhoven fill growlers? I wish I would have thought of that ahead of time, I definitely would have gotten a growler of Mosaic and Money, both tasted great.

Did you have Atypical? A newish ipa, really good too. I saw the list, kind of odd Barrier choices,I thought.

No, I didn't get to Atypical. Covenhoven doesn't do flights or smaller pours so that limited the beers that I could try. For an event like that smaller pours would made it much better and people could have tried a lot more of each breweries beers.

Just started filling growlers recently--on the beermenus page they indicate which beers on draft are available....it seems like they only fill a few different options. Mosaic wasn't listed as a growler option--I think it was just Money/Atypical and then Hup Hup/Nice Life

I've said this before and I'll say it again, I'm glad people haven't caught on because then I wouldn't be able to get a keg for myself.

Thanks for heads-up, enjoy! Too far of a journey for me to go back, wish I would have grabbed one last night.

On another note, the Barrier crew was there last night, at end of night in my slightly buzzed state went over to them and thanked them for making a great beer, they were very gracious!

They're awesome guys--really close to Joe, the owner at Hops Hill so I've had the chance to see them let their hair down quite a bit. Love this beer
