You have some serious restraint. I have a 32oz flip top growler of Morticia from the keg I picked up in January, I'm struggling to wait a year to drink it.

Archibald English Barleywine released earlier this year was great- wish I picked up more.
I don't think I've had any oaked beer before - I know I don't like over oaked wine. Has a buttery flavor that I don't like, I assume in a RIS it's different.

I've had the oak aged morticia before and it is very good. Don't know if I like the regular version more or not since I havent had it in over a year. Would love to do a side by side. Will def be picking up bottles of morticia.

Kinda dissapointed on the price pt for daddy warbucks.

@ecpho glad I picked up two extra bottles of Archibald to age. One of my favorite Barrier brews!

Don't think I'll be in for DW bottles - DIPA/TIPAs in the 9-10+ abv range get too sticky and sweet for me.
8% is perfect I think, like Dunegrass
I really like the label art - I think same artist as the last 2 bottles. A nice consistent feel comes across in all of the labels.

Any ideas on a good time to show up for his one? I've been meaning to get out to Barrier and this seems like a great opportunity.

My brother is there now, pretty average crowd for Barrier and both are on tap too.

There was a line at 12 (not big) obviously went smooth quick, both beers tasting killer on draft... Morticia was a smaller bottling run so may sell out by today, def tomorrow. Daddy will last a bit longer. There should be hitting limited distro through Union as well.

Get ready for more bottles are the first run from their bottling line will be soon (this was the last hand bottled run)

Very tame right now. Bottles are flying off the shelves but very smooth and not crowded. Both beers are tasting delicious. Hops hill is also awesome.

    Wouldnt expect less from Barrier.

    More releases to come.

Excited as well for bottling line...is it far fetched to think it will include Money at some point?

They picked up a bottle line? Wish they canned instead of bottled.
