Heading there on the red eye tonight. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of making the drive to Parish Brewing one day and the Bulldog looks like it has an impressive bottle list. Any advice would be greatly appreciate.

the bulldog is a very nice spot on the patio (when the weather is good) and the Chimes on Highland Rd also for a nice local drafts
Parish is about an hour drive west on I-10 and should have Ghost flowing along with the new IPA Opus Vert
Hope you enjoy the South!

Two spots not yet mentioned. Both off of Corporate. One is called the Cove. Interesting bottle list and they have a great draft selection next door. Also the Pelican House very close by has a great draft list. Like previously mentioned, the Chimes and Bulldog are both good options also (I prefer Chimes due to food and environment). Parish is worth the drive if you have time. They have a few brewery only releases that are usually very good. It's somewhat in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared.

Like already mentioned Parish is worth the drive. You can get Ghost and Opus, but be sure ro check out their taproom only beers. RĂªve Coffe Stout and The Fuzz are both awesome brews. NOLA's tap room is a bit longer of a drive, but the food is great and NOLA is making some great sours right now. Corporate Brew and Draft has what I consider to be the best draft selection in Baton Rouge. Plus the bartenders are the beer-geekiest in town.
