Riverbend is decent, but I have not heard of them releasing many beers beyond their cores and seasonals, so not a lot of talk about them. Oblivion is probably poised to become more well-known soon. He just purchased a 40bbl(!) brewhouse for production at the north end of town, and will be opening a brewpub about a block from 10 Barrel on Galveston.

Anyone know anything about Bridge 99 beers? Some place here in town got a keg of their DIPA. Worth a try?

Haven't tried anything from them yet. Even though they are from Bend, they didn't really have a ton of distro that I'm aware of till more recently. Give it a go and report back!

I've been neither impressed nor disappointed by any of their beers. They just opened a tasting room on the north end of town, so you can get the full experience the next time you visit, John.

Well, if the DIPA I tried last night is any indication, I think I'll try to find something better to do with my time next time I'm up in Bend. The beer was malty, sweet, boozy and just not very good.
