My friend will be in South Boston this wknd. He's staying at the Courtyard Marriot on Boston St. Any advice of great brewpubs/beer bars/bakeries/retaurants/bottle shops etc? Thanks in advance!
Or just scroll down. There was literally a similar thread posted two days ago. The location isn't the best, but he's close to the Andrew MBTA (our public transportation train system) stop on the red line, so he can go anywhere in the city. Just hop on, stay on the Red Line toward Alewife, get off at Kendall Square MBTA stop and Cambridge Brewing Company, Lord Hobo, Meadhall. Also hit Trillium in South Boston. Anything else is gravy.
I'm flying into Boston on 5/28 staying overnight and driving to Saratoga Springs, NY Friday for a couple of nights. We are coming back through Boston on Sunday. With ACBF going on my question is will there be more fun beers available in the Boston area? I will not be at the festival but would like to grab some unique beers if there is a possibility for that.
