Hey Guys, staying in Bushwick this weekend and was looking for suggestions for bars and shops. I looked around some threads already, but yeah I don't get to NY too often even though I live in CT. Probably stopping by Other Half on Saturday and Finback on Sunday. We usually stop by Tørst for a couple of expensive beers when I'm there and I've been to Spuyten Duyvil which is also an awesome stop. Looking for any other good craft beer bars (maybe cheaper?) especially with good food, and then a good bottle shop in the area. thanks, i know there's a lot of these threads.
The Sampler craft bar in Bushwick. 234 Starr Street. Close to the Jefferson subway station. They also have bottles for sale (to-go sales too). Have fun in Bushwick and check out the great mural street art on Troutman (next street over). Cheers.
I should mention I'll have a car too. Interested in other cool spots outside of Bushwick, but nearby.
For combo of food / beer (only 15 or so taps, but generally banging selection) / ambience / close to prospect park - I'd recommend a Saturday/Sunday lunch at Double Windsor
Since u have wheels, I'd recommend singlecut in astoria if u wanna venture outside of brooklyn. I've been there a few times and they have good beer, good food and a pretty laid back atmosphere.

Bar -> Dinner = The Well (60 taps plus great bottle selection) -> Arrogant Swine (new and very good BBQ restaurant with 20+ very good taps...e.g. they had KBS on this past weekend) Those two are about 3 blocks from each other. For bottle shop (and bar), The Sampler is about a 15 minute walk from the above mentioned spots, and you can also stop at Pine Box Rock Shop and Hops n Hocks on the way.
FYI: The Sampler is a bar that sells bottles too like Top Hops in the city. It's a craft beer bar not like Heavy Woods.
Thanks for suggestions. Checked out Arrogant Swine for dinner and it was awesome, grabbed a drink at The Well, went to Single Cut. Also grabbed sandwiches at Hops and Hocks. All were pretty great.
