Visiting Chicago - need suggestions

    My wife has an awards function coming up at the University Club/Palmer House area in Chicago (down by Navy Pier). What would be the best store to visit for beer selection around that area? I don’t mind if it’s a little bit of a drive, but not that familiar with Chicago so I don’t want to be driving all over the place. Looking for Pipeworks, Revolution, etc. but open to any suggestions for stuff I can’t get in Wisconsin. Any recent special releases I should look for? Thanks in advance for any help!

    Closest to Palmer House is Warehouse Liquors, they have a good selection and update their inventory regularly on beermenus.com. Otherwise Binny's on Grand or South Loop are good bets a little further. Revolution unsessionable just came out and is great, Mosaic Hero is out and very good as well. I've seen some PW Scarlett Betta and Sure Bet around both are excellent, Mikerphone one man wrecking machine, 3 floyds permanent funeral just came out, PW Grand Guignol, Rev Gravedigger Billy BA scotch, Spiteful God damn pigeon porter adjuncts, PW Lizard King and PW Ninja vs. Unicorn are all worth a look. I know that's a lot but the Chicago beer scene is pretty good these days...

    Ended up going to Beer Temple based on reviews...like a kid in a candy store. Unsessionable ninja vs unicorn daisy cutter barrelaged narwhal grand guignol scarlett betta sure bet permanent funeral and a bunch of others all found their way in tothe cart. $180 lighter I drove down the street and had lunch and beers @ Revolution... It was a good day!

    Chicago is pretty big and spread out. It might help folks if you narrowed it to what part of the city you'll be staying
