Their food certainly isn't bad... it's just really standard. I have no doubt you can find something exactly like it in Virginia.

I'd check out The Med, The Kitchen, Centro, Leaf, Chez Thuy, etc. Boulder does ethnic food extremely well; there's no shortage of excellent Indian, Asian, and some Mexican.

We did 11 miles in Boston! Walked from Cambridge to Brighton (Deep Ellem) and most of the way back

I'm also coming from VA to CO in July so seems appropriate for me to piggyback this thread since my questions are similar.

Denver Day Two I was thinking of parking at the Source, going to Crooked Stave, then walking to Epic, River North, Great Divide, Falling Rock and Freshcraft, all before heading to a Friday 6:40 Rockies game.

    1. Am I allowed to keep my car parked at the Source all day and into the evening? IF so, is the parking there free? If not, other parking suggestions? Would ideally like to park the car before starting into the drinking, and sober up at the game.

    2. Is it going to be hell at the last three places I listed after 5:00 on a Friday on a game night?

Other beer places on my list to hit are Backcountry, Avery, Yak and Yeti, New Belgium, Odell, Funkwerks, Mayor of Old Town, Oskar Blues, Hops and Pie, Prost, Station 26, Copper Kettle, Comrade, Dry Dock, and Vine Stree Pub. My wife is a beer lover too, fortunately. Our well behaved seven year old daughter has been to beer destinations in Munich, Bruges, Ghent, Amsterdam, Montreal, Vermont, Portland, DC, Baltimore, NYC, Philly, and more...so she's no stranger to the beer scene.

    3. Are any of the places I listed in Colorado especially kid-friendly, and are all of them at least kid-tolerant? She basically just needs a table to put her sketch pad on and away she goes with her artwork. A place where she has to stand amidst a sea of adults is never good.

Falling Rock right before the game should be busy. For me, hitting up Falling Rock and sitting out on the patio and catching a baseball game is one of my favorite Colorado activities. However, that is usually all I will do those nights, so I give myself enough time where I can hit Falling Rock early enough to grab some seating outside. If you try to fit everything into your schedule and make Falling Rock your last stop before the game, which you should as its right next to the stadium, it will likely end up being what you are trying to avoid.......a sea of adults with no where to really sit. You could luck out and it not be too busy, but your rolling the dice.

Agave is good, if a little out of your planned route. The molcajetes are great for hot and spicy fans. I had them mild, and they still were way too hot for me.

Centro, Agave, Aji, Cantina Laredo are all great. My favorite is Centro but it gets a bit expensive.

Heading out to the airport this morning but I wanted to thank all BAs who kicked in advice for our trip. My family and I have had an absolute blast in no small part due to everyone's input. We managed to hit Oscar Blues' HMLS, Lucky Pie in Louisville, Mountain Sun, Avery, Odell's, Choice City, Equinox, New Belgium (including the great tour), Tap and Handle, Crooked Stave, Station 26, Comrade, Euclid Hall, Freshcraft, Epic, Falling Rock, and Hops and Pie.

A special shout out to BA @dauss of Comrade for reaching out ahead of time and providing great hospitality to me and my family (as well as a fantastic Superpower IPA!). You all have an amazing place for the great outdoors and great beer!
