    Hey guys,
Coming out to Columbus for the USA/Mexico game in November and looking for opinions on good bars, breweries, tap houses, etc. We are planning on Hoof Hearted's tap room since we won't have a car.

    Any advice is appreciated!

Hoof Hearted is a great choice. North High Brewing is very close as well. Both offer great beers..

Wolf's Ridge is worth it if you're looking to have dinner before the game. I'll be heading to the game as well. #DosaCero

Wolf's Ridge and North High I like better than Hoof (at least that location). Wolf's Ridge being my favorite in the Cbus area.

Thanks for all of the recommendations. We're getting in Thursday at noon. We wanted to check out Hoof because they collabed with RAR in Maryland and we thought that was a great collab. Probably planning on these few. How is Columbus brewing? We saw they popped up as well

Columbus Brewing is awesome, however, no taproom. The "Columbus Brewing" you see online actually has no affiliation or something weirdness like that. So right now, no place to really go for the real brewery. Bummer... you would think a taproom would be more important than just distribution, given it makes far more money, but I guess their priorities are a bit different than the norm.

If you can find CBC's Bodhi, it's a must try!

@tcorder219 would be able to explain the situation best, but it was something like the restaurant used their name and served their beer, but was not owned or otherwise affiliated with the brewery.

The people here have mentioned the main ones. Wolf's Ridge is probably my favorite, alongside Columbus Brewing. Land Grant is good, too.

Could also head over to Gahanna to Kindred Artisan Ales, they make good beer. Their brewer is @tat2dhllblly

Interesting breakdown on Columbus Brewing, thanks for the info. Looks like Kindred could be a good one right before we go to the airport on Saturday.

Yeah, Im not touching this one. We have no association with the restaurant other than our ongoing litigation.

Sorry to admit I got a bit of a laugh out of the response. Sounds like a mess though, good luck

Are there also any good shops for us to go that we could possibly haul cans/bottles back ? Do any of the breweries listed have stuff to go?

I'll be seeing all of you fine BAs at the game as well, I can't wait!! #DosACero

Just confirming – the only to go options at the HH brewpub are growler fills, no crowlers, correct?

They have growler fills of most/all beers, but no crowlers. Also, they have limited cans of some brands. Check their facebook/Instagram to see which are available.

Good info in here... Any breweries we should look out for if we're coming from the East coast? Not sure if any of the Midwest breweries make it that way, or Fat Head, etc?

Jackie o's might be close enough on the way up, assuming you're coming from VA
