I will be visiting Dallas April 10-12. Are there any specific shops/breweries/bars people recommend visiting in the short time I am there. I have been to a Flying Saucer in the past, so I would prefer something more unique. I appreciate the heads up! And also looking for a good trade if anyone is interested.

Assuming you are going to be dallas proper and not a suburb:

Meddlesome Moth is owned by same people as flying saucer, but the moth is lot nicer and has harder to find beers. One of the best spots in town.

Common table is pretty good, and in a cool part of town.

Bottle shop is a smaller growler fill spot / bar that usually has some interesting stuff.

Craft and growler is really cool and all local beers; you should go here if you are looking to tick.

Also I'm always down for a good trade, we should talk.

I will be staying at the Westin Galleria in Dallas. Is that specifically close to anything?

Couple of miles south of Addison, which has Flying Saucer and Whole Foods. But frankly, Moth, C&G, and Common Table are worth the minor trek from where you're staying (~10 miles).

There's also a Central Market and another Whole Foods a little south of you if you want bottles and don't want to go to Addison. Lonestar is a bottle shop ~10 miles NW if you're in that area or can't find what you want nearby.
