Hey Dallas BAs, I am coming to visit family this coming Wednesday through Monday and wanted to get a little advice. I've read through some past posts so I didn't ask anything that had already been answered but I had a few questions. First, I wanted to see what advice people had about bottle shops. It seems like Lone Star Beverages is the best place to visit and I'll probably make the trip over there, but I'm staying in Garland so I wanted to hear what suggestions people had on places a little closer. Also, are there some thoughts on stores' selection/pricing/etc. Second, I will be in the area for the BA Temptress release and it looks like possibly BA Legion too. I mostly am curious about BA Temptress release party. It sounds like they won't be selling bottles but will have draft. Will it likely be an extremely busy event? should I get there on the early side if I want try everything? Also any thoughts on getting bottles of BA Temptress or Legion would be nice, although I admit I haven't taken the time to read through the threads for those beer releases fully yet. Finally, I'm interested in possibly setting up a trade or two if there is any interest. I don't have a ton of super rare beer, but might have some things people would want. I don't want to turn this into a trade post though so I'll make a separate post under the IP trade forum if anyone is interested or feel free to message me. Thanks for the help! Cheers!
There's a pretty good cluster of stores closer to where you'll be staying. Specs on walnut hill, Total Wine/Whole Foods on park lane, and Central Market on lovers. There are a couple other stores, Siegels/Goody Goody on greenville ave, that have higher prices/less selection but will occasionally have bottles longer than these other stores because they get less traffic. Last year the brewery release for BBA Temptress was on the weekend when Dallas iced over but it was still busy. I think they're doing a glass giveaway this year so if you're interested in that it'd probably be best to get there just a little early. BBA Legion will start to be released 12/8 with the main launch being at Lone Star. They are getting ~40 cases and the bottle limit is two four packs. All that being said it sounds like there should be some still floating around when you get into town. I think BBA Temptress is being released 12/15 but I can't seem to find that on their twitter/facebook where I originally saw it. Last year it wasn't hard at all to find but I don't know about their bottle count this time around.
Really appreciate the help! I'm heading back to Bama on the 15th so I may miss out on BBA Temptress bottles but I'm excited to get to try it on draft. I hope I can find some BBA Legion though. I'll definitely check out those stores close to me.

Not sure where in garland you are staying, but Kegs & Barrels and S&K are both in Plano and worth checking out, but lonestar is definitely the best.
