I'm coming back to town for the weekend after not living in the area for nearly a decade.
Where can I find some good local Barrel-aged sours? I'll be in Asheburn

The Lost Rhino actually makes really good barrel-aged sours, somewhat overlooked too since the rest of their lineup is pretty mediocre.

Thanks! Do you know if they currently have them for sale at the brewpub? I'd like to bring a couple back if they are good

I don't mean to railroad your question, but if you are in Ashburn, you'll be exactly 25 minutes from Adroit Theory in Purcellville. Pretty sure they won't have any sours, but they usually do carry ~22 different beers on tap. A lot of unique stuff, one of the more fun tasting of the places I go nearby. Have select bottles to buy. Maybe another one of your trips.

I haven't been out there in a while, but there are a couple on shelves at a few bottle shops around where I live, so I would guess they have them at the brewery right now too.

If you call over there or hit them up on FB you'll get an answer real quick. The peach sour (exesus sanctum) is the best one of the bunch.

I got a holiday 4-pak, which was one of each of the 3 sour bottles they have (double Z, exesus Sanctum, & Stublendious) plus one more stublendious for free!
