Doll is the best and most engaged craft distributor in Central IA if you ask me. Iowa Beverage is pretty solid too.

So the Bud distributor is the most engaging. Really?

They have a whole division of their distribution company called Doll Craft that handles nothing but craft beer and they do a damn fine job at it too. And yes, all the people that work on the Doll Craft side are very active in the Des Moines craft beer community online through social media and out in person at events.

So they set it up separately from Bud. Does the beer come on the same truck as Bud products?

I believe it they switch between "A1 Plumbers" and "OK Flowers" trucks to cut down on chasers...

They have their "Domestic" brands, which are your typical AB-InBev brands and then they have their "Specialty" brands, which are part of their Doll Craft division. From what I've seen, the Bud guys use the big, Budweiser trucks and the Doll Craft buys use smaller vans, etc. to deliver the craft products. They all come from same warehouse.

You're missing Ingersoll Wine & Spirits on your map (thanks for making it btw). They don't have the BEST selection but the TG lasts longer there than the HyVees I frequent.

The HyVee on Grand and Railroad in WDM has a decent selection too.
