Staying right down near Petco Park for a work conference - any bottle shops, breweries, bars or other good eats within walking distance or a short cab/Uber ride? I've already got a few in mind, wanted some local opinions and to see if I've missed anything.
I would checkout the following: Ballast Point Bottle Craft QuartYard - great selection of beers and good value Stone Tap Room Monkey Paw Neighborhood
nice avi... omar being omar to go to any real breweries you'll need a car. I know stone has a location in downtown.
Culture Brewing is in OB too. I tried their Solana Beach location and they had some interesting stuff. Not right downtown, but a quick uber away, Hamilton's in South Park has an awesome list usually. Up in North Park there's Mike Hess, Thorn, Modern Times, Belching Beaver, Rip Current and Fall Brewing. Toronado usually has a good beer list too.
I think it would be worth it to take a cab ride to obriens in Kearny mesa. the og spot. also, their is good bottle shop down the street
