Visiting Florida in a few weeks - Need recommendations

    I'm from Oklahoma and I'll be visiting the Tampa and Orlando areas. I need recommendations on stores to buy beer from, and on what beer to look out for. I'm looking for beer stores that allow mix packs and have a large selection to choose from. Being from Oklahoma, with our limited selection, I'm looking for the ability to buy a lot of 12oz singles, can or bottles.

    In regards on what beer to buy, I already have a pretty good list of what well known beers that I want to buy, but I am also looking recommendations on smaller, local Florida or regional beer that I should be on the look for, as well as seasonals that I should also be aware of.

    As for mix-6 places, I would recommend Total Wine locations in both Tampa and Orlando. There are better small independent bottle shops in both areas, but TW has a HUGE selection with everything available in singles. There are 2 in Orlando and I'm not sure how many in the greater Tampa area. One is right next door to Cigar City Brewing.

    If you get up that way, stop by Saint Somewhere Brewing in Tarpon Springs. Tour/Tasting/Open House every Thur and Fri evening from 6-8pm.

    There are three: the one you mentioned by CCB, one in Clearwater (Countryside) and one in SW Pinellas County (near Bay Pines, out toward beaches).
