Stopped at a Meijer in Grand Rapids after the Odd Sides bottle release and found BB for 13.99 a 4 pack on Saturday

Question on Perrin: 1) Is their taplist updated pretty frequently and 2) Do they sell bottles for on-premise consumption? Basically because I'll be with a big group this weekend, I have to pick between going to Founders and Perrin. Everyone has been to Founders and I thought Perrin might be a nice surprise for all of them. And since I'm the resident beer nerd, they count on me to pick the best place. I was hoping No Rules or something similar would be on tap, but it looks like it isn't now. If anyone has any beers that they think are great there, what are they? So far, Founders is in the lead because BB is on tap, plus some others that I know the females will like (blushing Monk, etc).

    1. Yes most of the time its pretty spot on.
    2. I have never seen onsite consumption for bottles. No Rules is long gone both on tap and bottles. I think the only beer that have in bottles and not on tap is With Kindness. Not really a super star by any means. Poop your Pants was decent, the rest are okay. Nothing better that Backwoods.

That's what I figured. I'll be on the lookout throughout the week to see if they add anything interesting. Otherwise, I think Founders is a safer bet for everyone.

Perrin gets noisy too, most especially when they are busy. If you are looking for a change of pace, its not bad by any means. Most of their stuff is pretty good. I'm just partial to Backwoods.

Founders entire taplist is killer right now. I love going to Perrin but it's a no brainer to go to Founders. Another thing in favor of Founders is that there is numerous places to grab a bite to eat within walking distance of Founders if your group is so inclined. You can't really do that with Perrin.
