Gonna be around Hampton Roads VA area for Thanksgiving. What are the best bottle shops to find what you can typically find in Richmond? Like Perianal, Hardywood, and the Goose Island Stuff?
Not from there, but my family is so I've traveled there a lot. The only one I know is Grape and Gourmet in Va Beach, which has a nice selection, but it's about 20 minutes or so from Norfolk. I'm sure some locals can give you some other spots.
Grape and Gourmet is the best bottle shop in the area, but if convenience is a major factor there is a Total Wine in Norfolk.
I think you owe it to yourself to try and make some time for The Bier Garden in Portsmouth. Big selection of rotating taps and bottles with outstanding German food.
Any word on if all these places are going to have the GI Black Friday line up or what part of the line up they are going to have?
I wouldn't expect the Bier Garden to get any BC, they're a restaurant that specializes in european beer.
Last year was the first time we got the BC stuff . Grape and Gourmet and Whole Foods got some BCBS but it was gone in a few hours . A small amount of BW and coffee showed up later . Hopefully we will get more this time .
