To the VT weather folks in the thread, with the current rain, do you expect the roads to be passable on Saturday to HF? I'll put my car situation this way: not made for the snow. I have a (weather dependent) trip planned, but it appears that Mother Nature is going to help me here? I appreciate the feedback!

I'm in the Northeast Kingdom of VT for the holidays, about 35 minutes from Hill Farmstead. It's rained up here pretty heavily over the last few days and the roads are bare. It doesn't look like we're going to get any significant snow between now and Saturday. That being said, have you ever been to HF in the winter? Sometimes that road can be slushy even when the main roads are bare because of the elevation.

All paved roads are bare. Gravel roads are free of snow, possibly an occasional icy patch depending on how well they are sanded. Usually they are well cared for and no problem.

Is the 3+ hour line outside in the cold?

Nope, it's contained inside these days once the doors are open.

...and they've been opening the doors early to let people wait in the warm indoors.
