I'll be checking the untapped ticks tomorrow to see when vintage bottles are up. Hopefully we get to-go cans Thursday.

There is also that whole drunk driving thing to look out for...

I definitely recommend suggestion #2. Spend the money and buy a few cases of their shelf saisons (and definitely max out on limited bottles if you like the style or have friends that do).

You might get rocked by sticker shock, but these bottles will last you years if you need them to. They're also great gifts if you have beer drinking friends who don't live in New England.

Yes. The growler fill stuff is excellent but for the most part you kind find reasonable substitutes closer to home (assuming your home isn't in northern VT). But where else are you going to find a beer like Arthur, much less at $10 a pop, no limit?

Hey @mjco04 I hope you enjoyed your visit last week! I'm going up next month! I see people have mentioned they have cheese plates, but do they allow outside food too? A friend recommended Parker Pie 20 min away, so we would have to go there first (and hope it stays warm until we can stand in line and get beers and then get the food from the car). I can only find reviews suggesting going somewhere before or after - is it not normal for people to bring food in? From pictures it looks like maybe there just isn't a lot of seating.

Seating can be limited on days where it is crowded. It's even more limited if it cold as the porch and outdoor picnic tables become less appealing.

They pretty much always have a food truck onsite, as well.

I was there at the end of August and it was about 58° so not the best weather for sitting outside, but not terrible either. We brought cheese, sausage and crackers and ate them at a picnic bench outside while enjoying beers. We stayed for the full 5 hours and never got asked to leave, or stop eating, or stop drinking because we had consumed too many beers. Overall a great day.

Thanks, folks! I forgot someone else mentioned food trucks in the thread above! I guess as long as we're dressed accordingly, it might not be so bad to hang out outside. I'll pack some lap blankets, we'll be very European lol.

Thank you all for your responses! It was such a great day. I missed out on Cantillon and Flora but everything else was just outstanding. I stayed the entire day and got there early just before they opened. The weather was beautiful but the foliage non-existent.

It's a bit early for foliage right now. Usually, peak time is around or after Columbus day.
