Not sure what kind of response that will get but I figured I'd throw it out there. I'm looking to connect (and possibly re-connect) with some beer enthusiasts in Iceland for an upcoming visit. Back in 2015, my wife and I took a trip to Iceland for our honeymoon. I set up a trade/bottle share with a few guys from there. I'm reasonably certain the share was at Microbar, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Unfortunately I lost touch with these guys in the years since, but I thought it would be cool to potentially set up another trade/share when we visit again if anyone is interested. And in the off chance one of those guys is reading this, or if you may be aware of the share I'm referring to and would be able to put me in touch with any of these guys, please reach out! I know it's probably unlikely as it has been 10 years. The only info I remember is the guy I set the whole thing up with was named Gunnar, I believe he worked at Microbar, and I'm fairly certain the owner of Microbar was at the share as well. Anyway, we will be visiting March 30- April 3. I have access to New England/ NY area beers (Hill Farmstead, Tree House, Fidens, Other Half, etc etc). Also don't mind swinging a trade or two for some cool bottles to bring and share. Hit me up if you may be interested in setting something up!
