I'm visiting Indy in October and looking for any advise on places to go. I'll be downtown near Victory Field. Last Year I went to Flat 12 and had an amazing time!

I'm from the Philly area, and hope to bring back some bottles as well. So what is on the shelves that I should try to grab.

    Thanks for any advise!

Sun King tasting room. Hit Mass Ave for bars like McNivens, Chatam Tap and Mass Ave Pub.

Re-visit Flat 12, they always have some really good stuff going there.
Fountain Square is pretty good. If you are a homebrewer there is an excellent LHBS across the street called Tuxedo Park that is a great place to shoot the shit, sample some brew and pick up supplies.

MacNivens often has interesting taps but not always
Tomlinson Tap Room has around 20 Indiana only taps, lots of beers you probly haven't tried.

October? We should have Zombie Dust on the shelves by then. I think. Maybe. Probably not.

Good stuff in this thread as well, but if you have anything more specific, ask away.

Any chance BCBS will be around when I come out this week?

I would have to second Flat 12, my brother-in-law and I went there and had a blast. They let us take a look around the brewery, even though they were brewing at the time, and gave us samples. We probably talked to them for atleast a hour. Simply an awesome time, if you have time check them out.

Flat 12 and Sun King. Went out earlier this year and both breweries gave us full blown tours. Great people to just hang out with and talk beer.
