visiting Jacksonville/ Wilmington area

    Hey fellow BAs, I'll be staying in Jacksonville area but will be visiting Wilmington and likely Raleigh. I'll be there July 8th through the 16th and was curious if there were any beer events in those areas?

    I found this resource for beer and brewery events in raleigh during your specified time frame, although I do not believe much is going on in terms of beer events.

    Raleigh has a few breweries and good bottle shops to offer. Breweries I would recommend are Trophy, Raleigh Brewing Co., and Lynwood Brewing. Crank Arm is downtown and has a solid offering, fun place to hang out, and real close to Tasty Beverage bottle shop which I hear has a nice selection. If you are interested in more traditional English/malt-forward beers I would check out Fortnight Brewing in Cary. Bond Brothers in Cary has been getting some attention recently also.
