If they have the smoked eel, poached egg, fennel, and horseradish, skip the burger.

Beer Belly. Holy hell, those deep fried Oreos. Also crushed 3 Duet's on tap tonight. Hitting up Library Alehouse & Venice Alehouse tomorrow!

Thanks again for all of the suggestions. It wasn't a beercation, but my girlfriend was very open to restaurants and bars with good taplists. Just a rundown:

LA Live/Downtown LA - 1st time there. I thought it was neat to see and being down in the hustle of the Clippers/Kings games. Hiked Runyon Canyon Saturday morning followed by Saturday dinner at Beer Belly. Duet on tap. Amazing as always.

Sunday headed to Santa Monica. Stopped at Wally's on Westwood and picked up Almanac Blackberry, Pluot & Dogpatch & a Lost Abbey Agave Maria. Had lunch at Stout Burgers & Beer. Drank a Anderson Valley Peachy Barl and a Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Stout. The Peachy Barl was great.

Sucked down a few Fortunate Islands before dinner while watching the Hawks game on Sunday. Blows Gumballhead out of the water IMO. Would love to trade some Half Acre Akari Shogun's or Daisy Cutters for those.

Wrapped up the trip yesterday with lunch at Library Alehouse with a Red Poppy and a Modern Times Booming Roller's. Wild Salmon Enchilada's were awesome.

Can't wait to make it back out ASAP!

    Cheers,
    Christopher

I'm sure that Perry, a young man who is extremely knowledgeable about beer, will appreciate your description! Lol!!

    Hahaha
    Too descriptive?!??!!!
I actually really appreciate him. A few years ago I saw a beer sale sign at Wally's and went in. I gave Perry a budget and he began to teach me about all different styles. Been booked every since. He makes the extra buck or 2 you pay a Wally's well worth it.
