I did this same trip last year, so I'm all set on recommendations of places to go and all that; rather than asking for advice, I just wanted to see if any BAs would want to do in-person trades or bottle shares. I'll be in London from March 5-15 and Brussels from 16-19. I can bring the following bottles, as well as (obviously) anything currently available: Dark Lord '10 and '11 Rosso e Marrone b2 and b3 Brooklyn Black OPS '09 Tröegs Splinter Black Sebago Bourbon Barrel Barleywine Ithaca Brute New Glarus Cranbic Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout '10 RR Consecration, Supplication, Temptation, Sanctification Pretty much everything NEBCO: Imperial Stout Trooper '10 and '11, Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Trooper, Fancy Pants, Gandhi-Bot, Wet Willy '10 and '11, 668, Chardonneighbor of the Beast (assuming it gets released before I leave), Zapata-Bot. I'm interested lots of Europe-only stuff, so don't hesitate to make an offer. Specific things I'd love to trade for sans overseas shipping include: 1984 Thomas Hardy (or other '84 stuff - my birthyear) Andechser Doppelbock Dunkel Mikkeller George! Bourbonfadlagret Stormaktsporter, regular or Kaggen! All things Lambic, especially anything Euro-only or vintage Obviously I'd be willing (and happy!) to package multiple brewery-only beers in exchange for rarer and more expensive stuff, so if you're even considering trading away a Närke or a rare/vintage Cantillon please send me a message; even if the beers I listed aren't that interesting to you, I can probably get my tasting group to open their cellars (which are deeper than mine). Oh, and if anyone doesn't want to trade but does want to meet up for a pint in London or to split a 750 in Belgium, let me know! Cheers!
I will also be in Brussels March 16-18. I plan on taking the beer tour on Friday. If you would like to share a beer or two let me know.
