I'll be in Bozeman at the end of July and am looking for suggestions on bars with good beer and local brews I can pick up to bring back with me. Any ideas? Thanks!
You should have no shortage of good beer while in Bozeman. Here's a list of breweries in and around Bozeman, and here's a good beer bar to check out, Montana Ale Works. For bottles to bring home, check out the Bozeman Community Co-op and Cost Plus World Market. Cheers!
There's Bozone Brewing, Bridger Brewing and 406 Brewing. Montana Ale Works is your best best for a bar, second to Old Chicago. Not much to choose from because it's mostly college bars here. Rosauers does have the best selection. Town and Country near MSU has some different stuff from time to time. Safeway, Smiths, World Market and the CO-OP don't have anything special, or different. World Market is the only place to get a mix six but it's honestly not worth checking out. They do have Chimay Blue on sale now for 10 bucks I think. Any other questions feel free to message me. 10 minutes west in Belgrade you have Madison River Brewing and Outlaw Brewing. Not sure about bars though.
