    Howdy Carolina BA-ers!

In early June I will be traveling leaving good-'ole Wisconsin for a vacation back to my home state of South Carolina. While there, I plan to spend a little time in Myrtle Beach and a little time in North Augusta. Any recos as to what bottle shops I should hit or what types of Stouts I should chase down while in the area? I know they are hard to come by this time of year, but I do appreciate a good bourbon barrel stout!

Thanks much to my Southern brothers!

There have been two or three threads in the past week or two regarding Myrtle Beach. Good info there.

If your driving I40 stop at Foothills and they have a BA Porter that is very good at a nice price, they also have a BA Brown, you can get growlers to go. It's three minutes off the interstate. Other than that BA stuff is kinda hard to get right now unless you buy Hoppin Frog and I suppose you can get that in WI.

Foothills is in Winston-Salem, NC off I-40. Not really "on the way" to Myrtle Beach - depending on how you're coming, though. Enjoy your trip!

Wine World in North Augusta has a wonderful craft beer selection. Worth stopping in!

North Augusta Wine and Beverage has a pretty good selection too. Wine World has a bigger single-bottle selection. Both places are pretty good about picking up our seasonal beers and new breweries as we get them.

Winston will be way out of your way.
According to seƱor google, you'll be cutting through Asheville, NC.
Check out some of those threads for suggestions.

Piggly Wiggly at the Market Common is the best stop in Myrtle Beach by far. Over 700 different beers and a rotating 4 tap Growler Station. Searh: "Byrd's Beer At the Pig" on Facebook for updated new arrivals and whats on tap.

If your coming down I26 then you stop in Asheville for the night, have a good time and hit Brusin Ale's. Check out their web sight on what they have in stock, and you can get growlers to go. They carry Foothills brews too, and they bottle their BA Porter so you might catch a stray bottle.
