I will be visiting family in New Albany for Thanksgiving. Which breweries are notable and only available in Indiana (and maybe neighboring states? I know of 3 Floyds and my Munster-born neighbor brings me beer from there all the time. What else? Also, what would be the best store to visit? I would prefer to stay in New Albany and not drive over to Louisville or anything. Thanks!
Well, as far as the best store to visit I'd go over to Keg Liquors. I think their Clarksville location has a better selection, but the New Albany one is good too. At least if you drive over to Clarksville it's the same side of the river and not all that far from New Albany. They do have a pretty good selection of Indiana breweries there, I've bought some 18th Street stuff there in the past and they try to get in a lot of different Indiana breweries there so if you're looking for something different to try, they'll have a lot to choose from. I'm sure someone from the area can help more!
Thanks! I had forgotten I started this thread. Yeah, Clarksville is close enough, and would be happy to go there. I'll look up 18th Street, as I don't know anything about them. Any other really good Indiana breweries other than 3 Floyds and 18th Street?
